Morning Comfort

When I looked out the window this morning, I saw a sky washed in blue with hints of pink. Very soft and soothing; like a pretty down comforter. This sky shot is quite a contrast to the vibrant colors of yesterday's photo. But it just goes to show that each morning is new and different. We don't know what the day will bring,
but we can choose to enter it with joyful expectancy.

"The moment when you first wake up in the morning is the most wonderful of the twenty-four hours.  No matter how weary or dreary you may feel, you possess the certainty that, during the day that lies before you, absolutely anything may happen.  And the fact that it practically always doesn't, matters not a jot.
The possibility is always there."
~Monica Baldwin

 "The LORD’S lovingkindnesses indeed never cease,
For His compassions never fail.
They are new every morning;
Great is Your faithfulness."
Lamentations 3:22-23

Blessings,

Nancy

  8. Lovely photo, Nancy and wonderful inspirational messages. I started my morning well today, first in quiet time with the Lord (which I don't always do, and I am working on that!) and then in my "garden" in the back yard, trying to get things planted in the containers. I was warmed by the morning sun, but not uncomfortably so. The day looks lovely and as you say, full of promise!

    I want to thank you again for nominating me for the Liebster award. I really enjoyed passing it on, and I hope the people I passed it to will do the same. It had been a while, and I had forgotten how nice it is to be honored in such a way. And the comments you made about me then (and on your recent comment) make me feel wonderful! I hope I can live up to your impressions of me! I could just tell you and I were going to "click" and I am glad I found you!

    1. And I'm glad I found you, too. I think God had a lot to do with our finding each other. :) Thanks for your sweet words. They make me feel all warm and fuzzy. Shalom.
