We've had a very busy week, which has put me miserably behind in my social networking. Just signed a lease for
an art gallery and retail shop in downtown Estes Park.
Let the games begin!
This fence borders the open space outside of Lyons, Colorado. I believe it's a Boulder County park now.

ReplyDeleteThank you Theresa. I spent some time looking at your beautiful drawings on your giveaway page. You are extremely talented. It's so cool to see you sharing your talent with others. Thanks for always taking the time to comment.
DeleteWow - that area looks a lot drier (dryer?) (more dry?) than it did when I lived around there nearly forty years ago. Love the bluffs and mesas, though.
ReplyDeleteIt will green up in a few weeks when spring actually arrives here. Then we'll see the beautiful wildflowers and green aspen. Have a great weekend.
DeleteA lease? Hope you'll do well!!
ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteVery dramatic landscape--almost like a red rocky soil--or is that just what the camera "saw"? And good lucky with your new gallery--hope your hard work will be rewarded.
ReplyDeleteThe mountains and hills in this part of the county are loaded with red sandstone. It's beautiful.
DeleteWhat a wonderful sense of vastness in this landscape image.

ReplyDeleteI can't take credit for the view. That's God's handiwork. But it sure is a joy when I can capture it.
DeleteCongratulations on the Gallery and Shop! How wonderful! We MAY be able to go through Colorado this summer, and if we do, I would love to stop in! I'd love to meet you! Did I tell you our daughter was born in Aurora? Thanks again for the award and for all the really sweet things you had to say about me. I really appreciate it!
ReplyDeleteIt would be so great to meet you, Marie. And of course summer is the best time to visit if you want nice, comfortable temperatures. A lot of people come up here to escape the heat. By then our shop will be up and running and it would be a ton of fun to show it to you. And we would love to bring you out to our homestead, too. As for the nice things I say about you. I only do so because it's true. I think you did mention Aurora to me in one of your early comments. My granddaughter was born in Aurora. :) Blessings.
