The Light of the World

A cross stands on the mountain behind our cabin.
High above us,
A symbol of triumphant love.

Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, "I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life."
John 8:12

May your day be blessed with His Light.

  1. Nancy,

After your encouraging and inspiring comment on my blog post, I wanted to visit your blog...and, I am SO GLAD I did...I LOVE your site, and am now one of your newest followers. Your pictures are AMAZING!! My husband grew up in Colorado, and talks constantly about wanting to go back and visit (I've never been)...now, I see why! How can you not see the "His" beauty? I also love what you have to say...so encouraging...glad to have found you...look forward to visiting often. Blessings.

  2. Hi Nancy, I hope that you are well? I see that you have experimented with the infared setting in photoshop. Really nice, it's a hard effect to get right and this is spot on

    1. Hi Shaun. Nice to hear from you. The photo does have an infrared look, but it actually was done with the invert setting. It was a very overcast day, so the photo came out almost like a b&w. When I inverted it and played around with some of the other effects, I got the look I was going for. Thanks for the compliment. Your b&w shot of the water with the stormy sky is very cool.
