I'm joining Jan and Jer at Friday's Fences for the first time today. Hop on over and check out the links. There are some great bloggers and photos for your viewing pleasure.
We awoke to a fresh blanket of snow this morning. It began to gently fall around 8:00 last night and has continued. We have about 9" accumulation so far.
I shots these photos at our homestead around 7 am. The foggy light at that hour gave everything a blue cast, as reflected in the pictues. I like to post undoctored photos, whenever possible. At first I thought, "Oh, don't post these. They're too dark." But this IS the way my world of fences looked at that hour, so I decided "what the heck. . . go au naturel."
I like the three rows of fences in this photo and the contrast of split rail and wire. All fences are not created equal. |

Hope your weekend is especially blessed.

Hi Nancy, i know this is a fence post. sorry for the pun.
ReplyDeleteBut that tree in the last photo is amazing, truly a scene of wintry times.
Actually, that's a pretty good pun. Wish I'd thought of it. Blessings.
DeleteHi Nancy! I love to see snowy (fences) photographs from the other side of the world to yours
ReplyDeleteYour photographs are wonderful, Carole. Thanks for stopping by.
ReplyDeletethat 2nd photo is so gorgeous! congrats on good, clean snow!
ReplyDeleteClean is the operative word. :-) Thanks for stopping in.
DeleteWe're having snow and cold weather here too. I'm not a huge fan of winter but the snow does make interesting pictures sometimes.
ReplyDeleteI love fresh snow because it covers up the dull brown of the ground. Cheers.
