What's funny is, the doe took off like a rocket right after I got this shot. She wanted nothing to do with the poor buck. Thanks for stopping by Shaun.
Welcome to Nature Notes Nancy. I enjoyed taking a look around both of your blogs. You certainly live in the right area to enjoy some of the best that Mother Nature has to offer and this photo is amazing. When I went out to rinse the birdbaths there was a deer in the yard who soon took off quickly....Have a wonderful week..Michelle
Another gorgeous photo, and boy am I jealous that you have these wonderful deer visitors and still such lovely snow! Did you know I used to live in CO? Our daughter was born in Aurora. We were only there 6 months in the Denver area, but we would've won an award for most prolific tourists if there had been one! We went everywhere, including standing on frozen Bear Lake when our baby was just five days old! :-) I loved it! People don't realize that the dry air makes the cold more bearable. The views are incredible, and well, it's one of the few places I would be happy to move back to!
Thanks for your comments on my blog. I am glad I inspired you to pull your family treasures out of storage and enjoy them!
I Love Bear Lake, Marie. One of my favorite spots to photograph. Thanks for sharing your Colorado experience with me. There is a lot to see in this state, that's for sure. God bless.
Love is in the Air i think, Excellent image.
