This is my kind of snow day.
Gently sifting white confetti.
Tranquil.
Peaceful.
Made from scratch beef stock.
Liquid love.
Simmering.
Its warm aroma fills our little home.
I'm content.
And more blessed than a woman has a right to be.
"If you surrender completely to the moments
as they pass, you live more richly those moments."

just beautiful scene! would be great for friday's fences, too. :)
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! You're right. Totally forgot about the corral fence being in the photos. Thanks for the reminder, Theresa. I'll link up. :)
DeleteBeautiful part of the country!!! This is further proof that God is in the details!!
ReplyDeleteOh, yes. He is definitely in the details. I just love seeing in handiwork, Marissa. Thanks.
Deletethat 1st shot is amazing. beautiful!! ( :
ReplyDeleteHehe. And the second shot? Just a plain ol' pot of soup. HAHA. Just pullin' your leg. I love you, Beth.
Deletewell, i bet if i could have a taste it would be just delicious. i will wait for a taste. what do you figure ... a day or two? ha. ha!!! have a great weekend. ( :
DeleteThank you for joining in 'Rurality Blog Hop #3' Hope to see you next Wednesday for #4...
ReplyDeleteMy pleasure, Madge. Thanks for hosting.
DeleteSo many winter scenes this week - very nice one here as well. Oh how I remember my mother's home-made stews in the winter. I'm the only one who eats soup at home now, so I stick to the canned stuff - ugh!
ReplyDeleteThanks for popping in, Nicki. Soup is our mainstay for lunches. There are some respectable canned soups now, but nothing that beats homemade. Sometimes I freeze individual portions for later. Maybe that could work for you. ? Cheers.
DeleteLovely, very lovely!
ReplyDeleteThank you. :)
DeleteWhat a lovely fence and snow shot...just says "Quiet" to me. And the soup looks yummy too!
ReplyDeleteIt was very quiet. Except for the snow plow. LOL
DeleteSave a bowl for me...love the fence shot...but that kettle of deliciousness looks very, very tempting.
ReplyDeleteWe had the soup for lunch today. Beef vegetable with noodles. So yummy. Sorry you couldn't join us, Rose. :)
DeleteI can feel the warmth n smell the aroma...so nicely captured through your lens!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the kind compliment. So nice of you to hose Friday's Fences.
DeleteWonderful post...very contentment-stirring. And great fence.
ReplyDeleteHi Marie. Nice to see your smiling face here. Glad you liked the post. :)
DeleteYep, I love snow days, too. Especially since the dogs next door are inside! LOL.
ReplyDeleteOh, that's a definite benefit for you, Dena. I hope your dog problem is resolved before nice weather and open windows come along.
DeleteWhat a beautiful scene! We have had some of those days lately too, where the snow falls gently all day without much accumulation. Your words create a peaceful mood, filled with gratitude. Enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting and leaving this nice comment. Much appreciated. :)
DeleteI like your snow picture and the quote of Anne Morrow Lindbergh is something I must remember to do, how true that is.
ReplyDeleteHappy Weekend - Betsy
