Deer Talk

"Hey! Do you see what I see, Mom? Another grownup."

"Uh, I wouldn't go down there if I were you."

"Hey! Get your face out of the snow. I'm trying to talk to you."

"Ok, fine. I know when I'm not wanted. . .Hey, Mom! Wait for me!"

The deer around our homestead are a never-ending source of entertainment.

Enjoy your weekend.

    1. Yes, and the snow is already starting to melt. Back in the 40's yesterday.

  3. Every time I see these big critters out there in the snow and cold I think "wow," God provides for every creature on earth.

    1. Yes, and sometimes the provision comes from our neighbor. Even though it's not a good idea to feed the deer (makes them dependent on humans), she can't resist feeding them in the morning. (sigh)

    1. Thanks, Misty. I love them, too. Even though the bucks have destroyed two of our trees. The price we pay to live here without fences. :)
