The Boys Are Back In Town

Seven mule deers visited our homestead this morning.
I've never seen this many together at once.

"How many are your works, Lord!
    In wisdom you made them all;
    the earth is full of your creatures."
Psalm 104:24

    1. I do love seeing them, but don't love what they do to our young trees. They actually lock their horns in the branches and tear them up. Stinkers.

  2. They are nice to see, but I've heard they can wreck a yard in no time flat.

  3. Yes, they surely can... my sister had 10 foot fences around her gardens... they have a appetite for all those succulent goodies that she grows... I'm so glad you came by to share on Weekly Top Shot #68!

    1. 10 foot fences would probably do the trick. :)

  4. Lovely photos Nancy
    although being honest I think I would be a bit scared
    if I saw those in my garden as we don't see many around here
    (except maybe at the zoo!)

    Have a great week.

    1. Hi Fiona. The deer are tame because my neighbor feeds them. A BIG no-no here. This causes a big problem for us because they're not easily scared off, and it's not easy to shoo them away from our young trees and flowers.
