It is really neat to see that. The saving grace for me is that the sun usually comes out son after a snowfall and warms everything up. Dennis is a bit of the type who gets "cabin fever". I think he used to enjoy the snow here, but now he's ready to head to a place where spring comes earlier than here. I think it's our age talking. You're right, snow is very typical for the mountains in April. However, I've been here three years and I haven't seen it snow continually like this for three days in a row in April. Usually we get a big snow in a 24 hour period and then it melts off. It sounds like you have a nice getaway place. We live here year round and I miss seeing spring arrive in March/April. Take care and thanks for stopping by.<br />Nancyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12854211710203164265noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5873453387647465527.post-11389302087819515932013-04-18T18:29:37.729-07:002013-04-18T18:29:37.729-07:00What an amazing sight of the elk walking down the ...What an amazing sight of the elk walking down the road! We did travel to Monarch Pass early one summer, June I think, and it did snow on us but only slightly. My girls thought swimming in the hot tub out in the snow was great fun.
